"Caller ID is the greatest invention since...panini."
Well, sure, it's handy...when I use it. But whenever I get someone's voice mail, my natural/nurtured paranoia sets in: "She's screening my calls. I just know it. I never should have said the dress made her look like a UPS truck."
When I was younger and more ignorant (last week or so) and I’d hear, “they say...”, I would believe what came next. THEY seemed so omniscient, so irrefutably anonymous. But it turned out that what THEY said was often false! You may have been duped, too, unless you’re THEY, in which case I think you owe me an apology. This blog is my attempt to set the record straight about a number of claims THEY have made, and, of course, to get attention.
Besides being a neophyte blogger, I’m a children’s book author. My website, www.jane-sutton.com, is child-friendly and talks about my published books and guest author presentations in schools and libraries. I also wrote an as-yet unpublished novel for adults called THE RECOGNITION I DESERVE.
